Description: A site for high school and older students. This site jumps around through history, but provides some excellent topics for class discussion and further investigation. Each podcast hot lists the resources author, Dan Carlin, used to produce the material. The author provides information as well as his opinion about a variety of historical topics from the Punic Wars to The Eastern Front of World War II.

Description: A podcast site devoted to learning about historical figures, events, and places.

Description: This podcast is in letter format from a young World War I soldier to his parents in Kansas. Before many of the letters a narrator describes the time period and aspects that are mentioned in the letter. Period music is played constantly behind the words of the pod cast for authenticity. The podcast does use the word darn and talk about cigars. At the end of the episode the narrator gives background about Memorial Day and how it changed after World War I.
